...The Highest Quality of Kingdom Life

Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you
Matthew 5:44.

(Literal translation from the Received Text of the Greek New Testament)
Ephesians 3:14,17

For this cause I bow my knees before the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
from whom every family in the heavens and upon earth has been named...

  • THAT you having been rooted in and built upon a foundation in Love, might have the spiritual strength to seize for yourself, with all the saints, what is the breadth and length and depth and height, and to know with finality what the Love of Christ is,

Father GOD,
I claim the release of the power Your Spirit
to remove any obstacle hindering me
from receiving of Your Love, Dear Lord.

Tear down all insecurity, inferiority, self-hatred
and rejection so I can properly love others.
I'm asking you, Lord to help me love my enemies.
Let them bring out the best in me, not the worst.
When someone causes me grief,
let me respond with the energies of prayer.

I hold the loveable as well as the unlovable
before Your Throne, Dear Lord,
that they might open themselves to Your love.

As Your love flows into me, let it flow on to them
that they might catch a glimpse of Your Grace.

Heal the parts in them that have been hurt
and hold a fear of being hurt again.

Allow the love You put into them flow freely to others again..

Help us all give our best
—the sun to warm and the rain to nourish—
to everyone, regardless:
the good and bad, the nice and nasty.

Let your light shine forth as a witness
of Your Love that others might
know Your Love and accept Your Grace.

In that same powerful Name of Jesus…

Love is one of the highest qualities of Kingdom Life there is, but a quality in which most of us are deficient. When Jesus came into the world He brought a new kind of Love unlike any love the world had ever known. It's a selfless Love that reaches out to give, unconditionally, whether there be any return or not. It is a thing which can scarcely be taught; it must be worked into our lives by the great Source of Love Himself.

As we proceed, we will find how the Love that existed in God toward the Lord Jesus is the kind we are called upon to receive—and to give. In Ephesians 3:14-19, Paul says, “I bow my knees unto the Father (in prayer), that you, being rooted and grounded in Love, might be able to lay hold on with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height (of Love), even to the point of knowing the Love of Christ, which is actually beyond knowing."
