The Power of the Resurrection

APRIL IS
POWER MONTH

Ephesians 1:15-19 Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints,  Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;  That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to
us-ward who believe, according to the working of
his mighty power,

 

  Dear Lord,

Open our eyes so we can know
how great  is Your dynamic power
unto us who believe.

Do this according to the
motivating power resident
in the power of Your Government. 

Release in us the strength
of Your muscle power. 

As all this worked in releasing
Jesus from the power of death.

I ask that it work in these
I hold before You now.

Release them from
the strongholds of sin,

sickness, satanic deception
and emotional bondages.

In the wonderful Name of Jesus,

our Lord And Savior…

Learning to pray what Paul prayed takes us to the keys that unlock the wealth of the power that worked in Christ’s Resurrection. It is given to us-ward who believe to know this power. Knowing the power of Christ’s Resurrection means sharing with Him in the life of His eternal Kingdom.

Perhaps the ability to believe this is the greatest gift given us by God. It will unlock for us all else that can be ours in Christ. Let us cherish it. Let us not allow one stroke from the enemy to ever knock believing Him from our lives. It is a gift from the Holy Spirit, ready for any who know they stand in need of it and who will receive it.

Death held power within itself but is not strong enough to withstand the power that came against it when it was time for Jesus to come forth alive from the tomb. The Word that came through David, the fullness of time, and the power from out of God’s Kingdom all worked together to break Death’s power.
