Many people—even some who have been born again—live with some darkness that has come back over them. I know, I was one. It didn’t come on at first, but it began to creep back because I took on the idea I could live on both sides of the street. Then, I remember the day I came to the Lord with the full realization that I had been redeemed into His family. It was like the Prodigal coming home.
Isaiah 44:22—I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, thy transgressions, and as a cloud, thy sins (they are gone like the morning mist at noon): return unto Me; for I have redeemed thee.
Luke 15:20—But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.
Galatians 3:13—Christ hath Redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree...
GREAT REDEEMER, I see it now! There is nothing to hinder my coming to You. My sins are blotted out! The curse is gone from my life! You have taken away the blight of my sin and the curse that has followed me! I love You for this. Help me now live with an unhindered and unbroken relationship with You. And, oh yes, I hold these before the Throne of Your Grace. Please love on them today.
