EPHESIANS 1:
15 Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints, 16 Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;
17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him:
18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of His calling,
...and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe,
according to the working of His mighty power,

Through ignorance, there are some who try to serve the Lord, and, at the same time, hold on to some occult practices. Well, let me tell you, this just sets one up for great big trouble. These things belong to the realm of Satan. They are an abomination to the Lord. Seducing spirits, sent from the devil, will wear out any redeemed person who tries to hold any occult belief or practice. What to do? Renounce it all! Put away anything that belongs to the realm of the occult. Speak to the spirit of the occult practice in the Name of Jesus. If it refuses to go, seek out someone to pray with you. Read Deuteronomy 18:9-15to see how the Lord feels about the occult. Then, remember James 3:15.
Isaiah 44:24,25—Thus saith the Lord, thy REDEEMER, and He that formed thee from the womb, I am the LORD that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by Myself; that frustrateth the tokens of the liars (who shows what liars all false prophets are), and maketh diviners (soothsayers; fortune tellers) mad; that turneth wise men(those who mind the things of the flesh—Romans 8:5) backward, and maketh their knowledge foolish…
II Corinthians 6:15-18—And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be My sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. (This is part of the fruit of Christ’s death and resurrection. He obtained redemption for us from the abominations of occult practices.)
FATHER, my family has been oppressed by lies and hindered by occult practices for generations. Some of this has been through ignorance. Some are not even aware what they’re doing is wrong. I repent for my part in it. Please grant repentance to these I am holding before You. Show us all Your redeeming love.
